NANOINNOVATION 2021 – FBK WITH IT-FAB ORGANIZES THE THIRD EDITION OF THE SCHOOL ON MICRO AND NANOTECHNOLOGIES

Also this year, Trento-based Fondazione Bruno Kessler contributes to the organization of NanoInnovation, the international conference dedicated to Micro and Nanotechnologies and their impact on science and innovation.

The 2021 edition, scheduled September 21-24 in Rome, will see talks and workshops held by FBK in the field of Quantum Technologies, gas sensing, and materials for the energy industry.

As part of the conference, also the third edition of the School on Micro and Nanotechnologies dedicated to Masters and PhD students and researchers. The school coordinated by Vittorio Morandi (CNR-IMM) and Lorenza Ferrario (FBK) will offer training courses on the basic manufacturing and characterization processes, with attention to both planar and 3D devices and with a session dedicated to cleanroom characteristics and operations.

“The large attendance of the first two editions”, Lorenza Ferrario, coordinator of the FBK Cleanroom stressed, “encouraged us to continue this initiative that allows us to bring to a wide audience the fascinating world of micro and nanotechnologies, which is increasing its strategic relevance and centrality in European innovative growth”
