Barbara Morsello

Barbara Morsello is a Researcher at the Center of Information and Communication Technology of the Bruno Kessler Foundation. She received a Ph.D in Theoretical and Applied Social Research from University of Roma Tre. In 2018 she was Visiting Research in SPS at the Department of Science Technology and Innovation Studies (STIS) of the University of Edinburgh, while from 2016 she is teaching assistant in sociology at the Pontifical Lateran University. She is also a member of the board of directors of the research center DiTES – Digital Technology, Education and Society of Link Campus University. Since 2017 she collaborates with the health department of the National Cancer Institute Regina Elena (IRE) where she has worked on a project on cancer prevention as a scientific coordinator. Currently she is member of the editorial board of Tecnoscienza – Italian Journal of Science & Technology Studies. Her recent research interests are self-management and e-health, genetics and innovation in medical technology.
