Physicist specializing in fundamental physics and quantum technologies, with expertise in beyond-the-Standard Model physics and Josephson junction-based devices. My research has advanced quantum metrology and high-sensitivity microwave detection, and I have designed and operated experiments searching for dark matter and fifth forces. Now researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, I focus on superconducting quantum technologies. Previously, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at Institut Néel–CNRS in Grenoble, France, and worked in the quantum division at IBM Research–Zürich in Switzerland. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Padua, with a visiting appointment at Princeton University, USA.
