Sergio Povoli
I’m a young AI research scientist at the Technologies of Vision Lab – TeV at Fondazione Bruno Kessler. My journey in computer vision has been shaped by a deep curiosity for understanding both 2D and 3D scenes, leveraging technologies like RGB-D and multi-camera systems. Over the recent years, I’ve had the chance to work on exciting industrial projects, applying computer vision mostly to fields like sports analysis and quality control. Lately, I’ve been exploring the intersection of robotics and Vision-Language Models (VLMs), aiming to create innovative solutions that bring these technologies closer to real-world applications.
