AI for Agritech: FBK innovation serving the agrifood supply chain

Artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming the agrifood sector, offering new opportunities to improve productivity, sustainability and quality of production. Against a backdrop of global challenges – from climate change to food security – technology innovation is the key to ensuring a more resilient and competitive future for agriculture and the agrifood industry.

With this in mind, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is dedicating its annual 2025 event to AI in the agrifood supply chain, an opportunity to present research projects and concrete applications developed in its centers. FBK, with its interdisciplinary approach and its ability to translate research into application solutions, proves to be a reference point for innovation in this strategic sector.

The event will be held on February 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and will be an opportunity for exchange of views between institutions, companies and research to discuss the prospects of AI applied to Agritech and the role of research in the economic and technological revitalization of the country.
