Cecilia Pasquini
Cecilia Pasquini is a researcher with the Security & Trust research unit at Center for Cybersecurity, Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
Prior to that, she has been a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Trento and the University of Innsbruck (Austria), and visiting scholar with the University of Vigo (Spain).
She received her MSc in Mathematics from the University of Ferrara in 2012 and her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Trento in 2016.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of information security and media processing, including topics related to image and video forensics and provenance, biometrics-based identity proofing, AI-generated media detection and adversarial machine learning.
She has participated in numerous projects on these topics (supported by EU, DARPA, DFG, MIMIT, MUR, IPZS) and undertaken different serving roles within the scientific community in information forensics and security.
