His writings have appeared in “The New Yorker”, “The New York Times”, “The Wall Street Journal”, “Financial Times” and other newspapers. Previously he was a senior editor at The New Republic and fellow at Georgetown University, Stanford University, the Open Society Foundations, the New America Foundation and the American Academy in Berlin.
