Leonardo Gasparini

Leonardo Gasparini holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Trento, Italy (2011), where he specialized in ultra-low-power camera systems.
Since 2010, he has been a researcher at the Center for Sensors & Devices of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, currently serving as the Head of the Integrated Readout-ASICs & Image Sensors (IRIS) research unit.
His research interests include CMOS image sensors, with a particular focus on single-photon image sensors applied to biomedicine, particle physics, quantum optics, and Time-of-Flight LiDAR applications.
