Sergio Alfonso Harari

After gaining a long experience in the field of lung transplants at the Niguarda Hospital in Milan, he arrives at the San Giuseppe Hospital – university center of the University of Milan – where from January 2020 he becomes Director of the Medical Clinic. Also in January 2020 he assumed the interim management of the Pneumology Unit, Pulmonary Hemodynamics Service and Respiratory Pathophysiology and Respiratory Semi-intensive Therapy Unit of the same Hospital. In March 2020 he was appointed clinical manager for all the Hospitals of the MultiMedica group of the COVID emergency. It has consolidated a wide range of patients and a network of international collaborations with other European and American centers. He represents Italy in the task force on the LAM of the European Society of Pulmonology and is part of the scientific committee of numerous international medical journals.
