The meeting organized by the Professional Association of Accountants of Trento and Rovereto highlighted that productivity and growth stem from research, innovation, and new local supply chains. With more than 30% of projects combining local companies and international partners, FBK remains a key player in the development of the Trentino system.

The conference traditionally covers both classic and the most recent trends in image processing, computer vision, and pattern recognition, addressing both theoretical and applicative aspects, promoting connections and synergies among senior scholars and students, universities, research institutes, and companies.

MAIA stands for Advanced Model of Artificial Intelligence and is the robot from which FBK initiated some of the main strands of its research in the field: speech recognition, digital visualization, natural language analysis and planning

The Marr prize, awarded every two years to the best scientific article on artificial vision, was won in the last edition by Trento-based Fondazione Bruno Kessler for a study conducted in collaboration with Microsoft and Carnegie Mellon University.
