The first edition of the PoC by FBK program has come to a close. The initiative was created to support the most promising business ideas proposed and led by FBK researchers, building on cutting-edge expertise and existing research results. Its goal is to bring these ideas to market in the near future through spin-offs, patents, or other technology transfer pathways.

Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) will support 9 projects with high innovative and entrepreneurial potential. Each research team can receive up to €80,000 in funding, a training program, access to FBK’s facilities, and a network of contacts with venture capitalists and companies.

Research advancement also comes through the tools scientists use in their work. We visited the MNF labs at Fondazione Bruno Kessler and asked a few questions to learn more about the features of the benchtop electron microscope.
