Sebastiano Bontorin

Sebastiano Bontorin is a researcher at the Mobile and Social Computing Lab (MobS Lab) at FBK.

He graduated in complex systems physics from the University of Trento, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Physics in 2024, collaborating also with the Complex Human Behavior Lab at FBK and the Complex Multilayer Networks Lab at the University of Padua.

His research focuses on the application of network science and complexity science to the study of human mobility, transportation networks, and cities as complex systems.

During his master’s program, he also collaborated with FBK, working on the complex dynamics of proteins.
