Call for applications at the University of Trento’s Doctoral Programme in Information Engineering and Computer Science

FBK has always invested in young talents, then starting from 2016, runs the International PhD Program, an excellence program for the training of all the doctoral students carrying out their PhD at FBK. The FBK PhD students are formally enrolled at the partner Doctoral Schools, but develop their research programs at FBK.

The PhD students are supervised by FBK researchers—among the best qualified and top world-wide ranked scientist in their field—in a culturally, scientifically and technically stimulating environment, with an international and multicultural presence of students, researchers and partner companies.

As part of the PhD programme at the University of Trento, Doctoral Programme in Information Engineering and Computer Science,  FBK is financing a total of 20 scholarships across the following scientific areas:

– 9 scholarships in Area B Computer Science (Deep and Structured Machine Learning, Language Speech and Interaction, Machine Learning and Intelligent Optimization)
– 4 scholarships in Area B Computer Science (Cyber Security, Embedded Intelligence and Robotics Systems, Systems and Networks)
– 5 scholarships in Area B Computer Science (Data Intelligence, Social Informatics, Software Engineering and Formal Methods)
– 2 scholarships in Area D Telecommunications (Remote and Distributed Sensing)
