Visiting in Trentino 2024 Call: open for applications

The call aims to foster scientific collaboration and strengthen the local system through the sharing and circulation of ideas and talents.

Funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento, it is aimed at financing “Visiting” programs for researchers and/or professors working abroad, to be carried out at research organizations in Trentino, in order to strengthen a network of exchanges and collaborations and to increase know-how regarding the use of innovative methodologies.

The visiting researcher/researcher’s stay will last between 6 and 9 months and will normally take place on a continuous basis. The visiting’s stay must be established with timing and modalities that allow for a concrete increase in the quality of research, real spin-offs in scientific terms, the consolidation and/or formalization of bilateral agreements and the creation of long-term collaborations. The Province grants the host institution a variable amount of up to 4,500.00 euros to cover the gross monthly salary paid to the visiting for the duration of the actual stay in Trentino and a fixed monthly amount of 500.00 euros gross, in addition to any social security and welfare charges, as a mobility allowance.
