WEBVALLEY? “THIS EXPERIENCE FULLY CHANGED MY WAY OF SEEING THE WORLD”

June 15, 2017

With these words, Dr. Marco Moschini expresses his gratitude to the program organized by FBK in Trento in 2001 to encourage students from all over the world to live a unique research and study experience

“I have to thank WebValley,” Moschini says in the video he sent us – “because that experience completely changed my way of seeing the world, research, and opened my mind.”

Marco Moschini, who took part in WebValley in 2005, is now a physician at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and is the coordinator of an important prostate cancer study that was presented at the European Urology Conference. His study also drew the attention of major national newspapers, including the Corriere della Sera and Repubblica.it, but also of foreign ones (Science Daily, Mirror.co.uk).

Thanks to Moschini‘s study, tumor aggression can be predicted by a simple blood test. Men with low levels of testosterone are more likely to have a high Gleason score and, therefore, a particularly hard to treat type of cancer.
