Ciro Beneduce

Ciro is a PhD student at the University of Trento and at the Mobile and Social Computing Lab at the Center for Augmented Intelligence of Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK).

His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational social science, and urban dynamics, with a particular focus on foundation models for understanding, modeling, and interacting with human behavior. His work explores the use of large language and multimodal models for human mobility, urban perception, and geographic reasoning, as well as their biases and limitations. More recently, he has been investigating embodied and agentic AI from a behavioral perspective.

He is also part of the DEBIAS Fellowship Program, contributing to research on biases in data-driven systems and their implications for human mobility and urban applications.
