Innovation and research, the collaboration between Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and Fondazione Bruno Kessler has kicked off

President Luca Barbini: leading organization at the national level. The digital innovation hub should enter the Trentino innovation ecosystem to encourage contamination

A strategic alliance to help associated companies develop new innovation and applied research projects. This is the goal of the agreement signed today (Thursday, December 14) by Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti and Fondazione Bruno Kessler of Trento, the top research center in Italy, ranked first for scientific excellence in three different areas (including ICT) and for its economic and social impact. “It is an ideal partner – Luca Barbini, president of the industrial association says – to support our companies in a strategic and fundamental field such as innovation is. We are very proud to be able to offer our members this new opportunity: it is an initiative in line with the project of the digital innovation hub of Feltre, which also boasts the University of Trento as a signatory to the memorandum of understanding. In this regard, we ask the institutions to encourage the entry of the Feltre Hub into the Trentino innovation ecosystem, with a view to sharing that can bring benefits to both organizations».

Fondazione Bruno Kessler is a not-for-profit research entity of public interest. The result of a long history of more than half a century, through its two scientific hubs, one dedicated to technology and innovation and one to human and social sciences, seven research centers, more than four hundred researchers, FBK aims to achieve excellent results in the scientific and technological field, with particular regard to interdisciplinary approaches and to applicative elements. This happens thanks to the constant attention to collaborations and exchange activities with national and international research, institutional and business organizations, which expand the capacity for innovation and involve the community and the local economy in the circulation of knowledge and technology.
