Felix Ahrens

Felix Ahrens is an experimental physicist and researcher in the Superconducting Quantum Devices (SQD) unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, Italy. His research operates at the intersection of quantum sensing, circuit quantum electrodynamics and microwave quantum optics using superconducting circuits. Beyond studying the underlying physics of these systems, he actively designs and develops the superconducting devices that power them. Additionally, Felix’ research extends to cryogenic sensors and he investigates superconductor-mechanical hybrid systems for fundamental physics and advanced sensing applications.
