The Speck&Tech event at Wired Next Fest in Rovereto hosted Elena Crespi and Simone Angioni to explore the role of green hydrogen in the energy transition and to weigh the pros and cons of a sustainable future

The 2025 edition of REbuild, Italy's leading event on innovation in the construction sector, featured Silvia Ricciuti, a researcher at the FBK Center for Sustainable Energy, who highlighted the integration of green hydrogen into renewable energy communities as a key for a sustainable and scalable ecological transition.

The SWITCH European project, coordinated by Fondazione Bruno Kessler, has won the Hydrogen TCP Award of Excellence 2024, the prestigious prize from the International Energy Agency, the supranational intergovernmental organization leading the global dialogue on energy, for its important contribution toward a clean hydrogen economy and a more sustainable future.

The North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley (NAHV), the first transnational initiative of this kind under the Horizon Europe programme, supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, was launched in Portorož-Portorose, Slovenia. Fondazione Bruno Kessler as partner in the project, will be in charge of several activities such as the safety plan, the modelling of the digital twin of H2 valley and definition for a certification scheme for the green H2 guarantees of origin.

The appointment of 24 January 2023 concerns the most important European research organization in the field of hydrogen.
