Final event (online) on October 7, 2021, with an analysis of the results and impact of the European project by FBK-IRVAPP researcher Davide Azzolini

The project made it possible to replicate the UX Challenge of HIT (Hub Innovation Trentino Foundation) in 7 European countries, allowing hundreds of university students to apply their skills in the user experience field and actively collaborate with more than 200 small and medium-sized enterprises in the digital world to improve products and services.

Final event: October 7, 2021 from 9am to 1pm CET, onlineAGENDA

“At HIT we have been organizing Innovation Challenges for years on various technological areas and production sectors, in close cooperation with the Kessler Foundation, the University of Trento, Trentino Sviluppo, but also other local players, such as Confindustria Trento.
The Innovation Challenges allow us to multiply the opportunities to transfer knowledge on new technologies between research and business, starting from the innovation needs of companies.
With the 200SMEchallenge project, the European Commission recognizes HIT and the Trentino ecosystem a leadership role at European level in experimenting and disseminating new effective methods and formats to put into practice open innovation between research and business.”
(NICOLA DOPPIO, Innovation & Tech Transfer @ HIT – Hub Innovation Trentino Foundation)

For FBK-IRVAPP, the participation in the project was a great opportunity to test an evaluation method (the randomized controlled experiment) in the context of public policies for innovation and to learn useful practical lessons on conducting rigorous evaluation studies in multi-company and multinational contexts. ”
