Elena Crespi from FBK among the 100 successful women according to FORBES Italia
The researcher from the Center for Sustainable Energy selected among the 100 female personalities who have contributed to the growth of our country.
Elena Crespi, researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, is among the 100 successful women for 2024 according to Forbes Italia. The ranking presents female personalities who have contributed to the growth of the country through their work.
She achieved this milestone thanks to her work as a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s Center for Sustainable Energy (SE). The use and production of renewable hydrogen is the main focus of her research work, which she carries out as part of numerous European projects in which she collaborates.
“I am amazed and delighted to see my name among the 100 women who have contributed with their passion and commitment to the growth of our country, in the hope that it will soon no longer be necessary to draw up a separate ranking for women. I would like to thank FBK’s communication team, which was able to enhance the research work that I and my colleagues carry out every day with passion,’ Elena Crespi commented.
A significant recognition that has been awarded by Forbes Italia, which for seven years has been celebrating female figures who stand out for their significant contribution to the country’s growth in their respective fields of expertise. The women who stand out in this year’s Forbes selection come from a variety of fields: they include scientists, managers, artists, sportswomen and journalists.
Last year Elena Crespi won the important Young Scientist 2023 prize, awarded by Hydrogen Europe Research, an international organization consisting of more than 150 universities and research centers from 29 different countries. The award categories were four, including the one won by Crespi dedicated to research in the field of hydrogen usages.
In addition, Elena Crespi is one of the talents of FBK Science Ambassador, a higher education course on science communication that aims to train researchers to make them ambassadors of Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s research, providing them with the tools and opportunities to disseminate the results and value of research with clarity, passion and enthusiasm.
