Fondazione FiemmePER and Fondazione Bruno Kessler sign an agreement for the sustainable development of Fiemme Valley
Fondazione FiemmePER ETS and Fondazione Bruno Kessler have signed a framework agreement to cooperate on research, innovation and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on the UN Sustainable
The agreement outlines the implementation of collaborative initiatives in key sectors like green transition, renewable energy, smart mobility, and residential development, aiming to foster new growth models for Fiemme Valley that can later be scaled and replicated in other alpine regions.
The agreement also aims to promote technology transfer, the involvement of the community and schools, scientific dissemination and the enhancement of applied research. A Coordination Committee will be formed to oversee activities and identify new collaboration opportunities in light of the agreement.
Mauro Gilmozzi, president of FiemmePER, remarked, “This partnership marks an important milestone in transforming our valley into a model of social innovation, competitiveness, and quality of life.
Paolo Traverso, Director of Strategic Planning at FBK, emphasized that “Research plays a crucial role in helping regions like Val di Fiemme tackle the challenges of the future.” Working with dynamic and established companies like FiemmePER, which hails from a vibrant region with strong institutions and businesses, presents a crucial opportunity for the success of initiatives that could serve as models for other contexts. Working closely with the territory is, in fact, the foundation of our mission to innovate and create tangible solutions for the future.
The five-year agreement lays the foundation for a long-term commitment between the two institutions, with the involvement of local authorities, businesses and citizens.
