Edoardo Gino Macchi
Edoardo Gino Macchi is the Head of Battery and Electrification Technologies Unit (BET) of the Sustainable Energy Center at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento. His engineering background followed by doctoral and postdoctoral experience enabled him to acquire a wide range of competences covering mathematical modelling, engineering and experimental characterization of energy systems. Since 2018 he has been in charge of redox flow battery R&D activities at FBK: from modeling to electrochemical testing and prototyping.
He is also in charge of FBK’s project in the IPCEI “European Battery Innovation” and he represents the Center in the Batt4EU Partnership and in the Batteries Europe platform.
