Elio Salvadori
Elio Salvadori is a Senior Principal Scientist within the Digital Health & Wellbeing research center. He holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an EMBA from Politecnico di Milano, and a PhD in ICT from the University of Trento. Following a tenure at Nokia Networks, he joined CREATE-NET research center in 2005, serving as Head of Unit from 2007 and Managing Director from 2015. After the center’s incorporation into FBK, he served as its Director until 2019. He is a co-founder of MEEVA, an FBK spin-off developing XR-based serious games for autistic adolescents. Throughout his career, he has coordinated numerous European research projects and industrial innovation-driven initiatives. With over 120 scientific publications, his research focus has transitioned from computer networking to digital tools for mental health and wellbeing.
