FBK has joined "Insieme contro la violenza sulle donne" (Together Against Violence Against Women), a network of organizations and institutions dedicated to promoting initiatives that support women experiencing violence in the province of Trento. The Foundation is also advancing numerous research projects aimed at countering violence and hate— including linguistic forms of abuse.

In any crime against women it is always to be found the gender stereotype according to which women must stay one step behind anywhere: at home, at work, in society. It is high time is for a turning point.

Through human and social sciences and statistics, we can understand differences, shared characteristics and the evolution of such criminal phenomena. Let's see in what they are different.

The "FESTA - GARCIA" final conference takes place in Brussels today and tomorrow. The event was jointly organized by FBK (FESTA project) and Université Catholique de Louvain (GARCIA project) which has 135 members including academics from all over Europe, and also from the US and several European Commission officials as well as businesses representatives.
