From artificial intelligence in health care to systems security, from new energy sources to the history of missions, FBK research is making headlines in local and national media.

September 21 marks World Zero Emissions Day, an opportunity to take stock of how institutions and regions are addressing the challenge of decarbonization. At FBK, research and internal management go hand in hand on this issue, making the Foundation's activities increasingly sustainable while developing the skills that will drive tomorrow's energy transition.

The 2026 edition of the “Pioneers in Research” summer school is devoted entirely to technologies in the energy sector, a cutting-edge field in which FBK actively contributes to progress at both the national and European levels. Thirteen young talents took part, participating in workshops and engaging in discussions with experts on hydrogen, batteries, and advanced materials.

Created in collaboration with the Center for Sustainable Energy, the program will focus on energy technologies, a cutting-edge field in which FBK actively contributes to progress at the European and international levels. Applications are open through June 7.
