At the RCS Energy Talk, Luigi Crema (FBK) highlighted the need to combine the energy mix with a strategy for technology supply chains. Hydrogen and batteries were identified as key levers to reduce dependencies and support European industrial development.

From microsystems to artificial intelligence, FBK has translated its research capabilities into technology platforms and concrete solutions for businesses, public administrations, and citizens, strengthening its role as a driver of regional innovation with global reach.

On March 20, a session titled “Ecosystems of Innovation: From Research to Business in Technological Discontinuity” was held at the FBK hub in Povo. The event was promoted by the TEHA Club and dedicated to the CEO Community, an international strategic consulting think tank within The European House – Ambrosetti, a leading Italian group in management consulting and applied research.

The meeting organized by the Professional Association of Accountants of Trento and Rovereto highlighted that productivity and growth stem from research, innovation, and new local supply chains. With more than 30% of projects combining local companies and international partners, FBK remains a key player in the development of the Trentino system.

Trento based Fondazione Bruno Kessler hosted the second event of the Roadshow organized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy (MIMIT) to talk about emerging technologies, research and business involvement.
