Andrea Gaiardo
Andrea Gaiardo received a degree in Chemistry with honors from the University of Ferrara in 2013 and a PhD in Physics from the same institution in 2018. He is currently a researcher with the MTSD unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s Center for Sensors and Devices, where he coordinates the “Gas Sensor Team.” His research activity focuses on the development of advanced systems for the detection of gaseous molecules, applicable in various sectors, such as air quality monitoring, precision agriculture and clinical disease screening. In this field of research, he has published over 55 scientific papers and collaborates in European, national and privately funded projects. In addition, he was guest editor of five special issues in relevant-field journals.
