David Novel

David Novel (PhD) is a materials engineer and researcher at FBK, where he leads the SPIN Unit (Sensors Packaging and INtegration) within the Sensors and Devices Center. https://sd.fbk.eu/en/
The SPIN Unit focuses on microelectronic packaging and system integration with applications ranging from particle physics, materials characterization, space, gas sensing and medtech.
David’s research interests include packaging, 3D integration, microfabrication of low mass flexible electronics, GEM detectors, nano composites, engineered wood and additive manufacturing.
