A new idea for skiiers originated from an FBK spin-offMotorialab, a spin-off created in the laboratories of FBK, participated and won the prize for innovation at the Vertical Innovation Camp organized last week by Dolomiti Superski. Thanks to their actions aimed at strengthening and creating new business, once again FBK gives its tangible contribution by bringing together research with the socio-economic development of the local area.

December 19, 2016RF-MEMS technology for 5G applications at CMM-FBKThe upcoming 5G mobile standards will pose challenging demands on hardware components, requiring very boosted performances in terms of high-frequency and wideband operability, low-losses, high-linearity, and so on. The RF-MEMS technology developed at the MST unit of CMM-FBK was recently demonstrated up to 110 GHz, and is a promising candidate to meet the 5G challenges.
