Marco Guerini

Marco Guerini, a researcher in Computational Linguistics and head of the Language and Dialogue Technologies group at the Digital Society Center (FBK-DIGIS), is an expert on persuasive technologies and social phenomena on the web. He boasts a hybrid background: in fact, he holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Siena and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Trento. He has authored or co-authored important papers published in leading international conferences in the field. In recent years his research has focused on the development of artificial intelligence technologies to counter online hate and misinformation . His research has also appeared in international journals and magazines, such as Wall Street Journal, MIT Technology Review, Harvard Business Review, Wired.
